Are We There Yet?

All of us are racing for something! If we compete, we consciously prepare the last step before stepping or jumping, and hop, to pass the finish line. You don’t want to go flat before the last step? Not a chance!

Interestingly in the Bible, we are likened to runners. 1Corinthians 9:24. In this verse, Paul explains about an arena, and he says all of us running. We are all in the arena of life.

Because we are in the same arena, we are in the same condition. The track is the same, the distance is the same, and the destination is the same. It’s just that we often compare each other. “Ah he’s from a family that all runner, ah he’s wearing the latest technology in shoes, ah he has the winning genes.” Read this: Romans 8:37. Don’t you know, that you are more than a conqueror.

“The most important thing from a big success is a small success that is repeated.”

What does that mean, we cannot expect to instantly achieve a great victory. But we must be able to win a series of small wins. Joshua 12:7-24. So guys! Stop comparing yourself to what you have not (which usually makes you frustrated), why don’t you see what God has put under your feet (meaning what you have won).

ARE YOU THERE YET? Not yet, but I will be there.

There is a story about Joseph Bar Jacob. Joseph, son of Jacob. In Genesis 39:2. We learn about how the standards of success are redefined. We need to experience a mental revolution. Change of mind, metanoia. So that you can introspect, and organize your life forward even better. Are we there yet? Not yet, but with God, I will be there.

(BAHASA INDONESIA)

Yosua 12:7-24. So guys! ARE YOU THERE YET? Not yet, but I will be there.

Ada cerita tentang Joseph Bar Jacob. Yusuf bin Yakub. Are we there yet? Not yet, but with God, I will be there.
